Once all data points of velocity (Vs) profile are prepared after AUTO analysis, then they are marked on a chart where original field acquisition geometries are displayed as illustrated below. By clicking "RUN GRID-3D" button, the 3D grid generation proceeds based on a generic 3D-interpolation algorithm. Some interpolation properties can be controlled for this process (e.g., relative searching dimensions, grid size, relative weights between vertical and horizontal directions, etc.). The generated grid file is saved (*.G3D) and used for subsequent display in "Display 3D" tab.
