September 2017 - Now providing Version 3.0 (Regular, AUTO, and AUTO Lite) and Version 2.0

As of September 2017, a new version (v. 3.0) of ParkSEIS is available. The most significant feature of this version is the "AUTO" module which provides a fully automated default sequence of MASW data analysis. This new version is also available without AUTO feature. This now provides following options for both purchase and lease:

  • Version 2.0 (discontinued as of January 2019)
  • Version 3.0 (released on September 2017)
  • AUTO (version 3.0 with AUTO function...released on September 2017)
  • AUTO Lite (version 3.0 with limited AUTO function...released on September 2017)

ParkSEIS© Software for Lease and Purchase

ParkSEIS© software is available for either lease or purchase. All lease prices are credited toward future purchase. A purchased license comes on a USB dongle that enables the user to transfer the license from one computer to another. A temporary license will be provided for one computer during the delivery of the USB dongle. An option is also available at a reduced price for single installation on one computer via online delivery and activation. Pros and cons for these two purchase options are explained here. Volume discount (15%) for multiple copies at the same institution will be available for both lease and purchase options. Contact us to get pricing information for lease and purchase.

DEMO Policy (New 2019)

A 1-week license will be provided for single computer installation at fee, part of which will be credited for future purchase within 1 month.

Lease (1 month)

Lease prices paid will be credited for future purchase within 3 months after initiation of the first lease. Screen Share Tutorials (SST) using Skype will be available for all lease options at additional cost. See technical support below. User guides and video tutorials are also available online.

  • Screen Share Tutorial (SST)
    A tutorial session by using Skype (or Google Hangout) will be available to learn about the use of software, to get insights into how to process field data, or to consult about upcoming MASW projects. Each session will last approximately 45 minutes and will be scheduled by appointment. Any subject related to MASW in general can also be discussed during the session. Each session can also be purchased separately by anyone using the software (through lease or purchase).
  • Unlimited maintenance for 1-year
    Unlimited support for bug fixes will be available for the first 1-year period after purchase when critical bugs are found and reported.
  • Affordable upgrade
    Option(s) will be available for upgrade to a higher version at an affordable rate.
  • Future training course at discounted rate
    Any training course on MASW/ParkSEIS to be scheduled in the future will be available at a discounted rate.

Announcements for Earlier Versions

Version 2.0 (September 2016)

Since version 1.01 was released a year ago, the functionality and user friendliness of ParkSEIS© have been greatly improved mostly due to extensive in-house operations, but also from suggestions and reports from previous users. Most bugs found were minor, but a few of them were critical. All bugs we found have been fixed. Updates, additions, and modifications incorporated into the current version (v. 2.0) are explained here. There are many other updates, upgrades, and bug fixes incorporated in this version that will be self explanatory during software use.

Version 1.01 (October 1st, 2015)

After six months of beta-testing, the release version of ParkSEIS (v. 1.01) is now available as of October 1st, 2015.

Many early users of ParkSEIS participated in the beta-testing program which was aimed at crowd-sourcing bug-fixes and enhancing the overall user experience. Participants evaluated the software in the context of their own specific uses, which varied widely. Some of them were beginners new to the MASW method while others have been routinely practicing the method by using their own tool(s) previously procured. Among them were several users who actively participated for a prolonged time by sending carefully prepared bug reports and suggestions for possible improvements along various dimensions. Their contributions greatly improved the overall user friendliness, integrity, and functionality of the software. Some of the reported bugs were minor, and some were critical. Additions and modifications made based on the participants' feedback are explained in the user guide included in the release version.

All participants seemed to suggest that ParkSEIS is a very powerful tool with many advanced modules currently not easily available from any other sources. They also commented that ParkSEIS has very intuitive and friendly user interfaces that enable the first-time users to quickly master major processing steps.
