Next-Generation MASW Software for Geophone and Microphone Surveys
Since the release of the last version in 2018, the ParkSEIS has been steadily cited as “the most reliable MASW software” in all online search engines. During this period, many users worldwide shared their data from extremely diverse geotechnical settings with the ParkSEIS develop team, which made invaluable contribution to the further improvement of the software. We greatly appreciate their contribution and proudly announce the release of the new-generation package ParkSEIS-X (PSX) as of September 2025.
Key features include the QA/QC module, On-Site real-time AUTO process that can handle data acquired from geophone or microphone (SeisMike) surveys, and additional 2D cross sections (e.g., N-Value, density, and Poisson’s ration). All previously known bugs and inconvenient functions have been fixed and improved although each of them is not explicitly mentioned elsewhere.

New License Policy
The PSX now employs the yearly subscription-based license policy. The first-year subscription will receive a 10% concession in subscription fee*. Two types of license delivery are available: online and USB dongle. The online license is only for one computer installation and delivered via online media. The USB-dongle license allows the installation on two computers and delivered via FedEx Priority shipping (1 day domestic and 1-3 days international).
*Not applicable to old USB-dongle users exchanging for the new PSX dongle
Old USB-Dongle Users
Users of the old USB dongle (either PS version 3.0 or AUTO) can get credit when the dongle is returned for the new PSX license. The amount of credit is prorated over the period since the purchase date and the price paid. For example, 75% credit will be issued if purchased within 6 months, 60% if within 1 year, and so on. The minimum credit for the oldest purchase (e.g., older than 5 years) will be 10%.
